Sometimes the daily grind gets to us. This Recipe for Happiness custom cutting board is a great way to remember to lighten up! A handmade personalized cutting board makes the perfect birthday gift, wedding gift or anniversary gift. Made from Walnut, Cherry and Maple Wood, we laser engrave the recipe right into the wood. This cutting board measures roughly 12 inches long, 8 3/4 inches high and 3/4 inch thick. Size may vary slightly.

Now I know you aren't going to want to use such a nice cutting board for actually cutting on so the back side of the board is also finished for cutting. Cut on the back side and leave the engraved side looking amazing for display.

THE PROCESS:
All of our real wood cutting boards start out from hand selected rough cut lumber that we mill to size, cut into strips and glue to the rough shape and size of the board using a food safe and environmentally friendly wood glue. After the glue has dried over night, we plane to the proper width, cut to the proper size, router the edges and sand. After sanding, we sand some more. When is said and done, we oil the board with scentless, colorless, order-less and again, perfectly safe for consumption, Mineral Oil to condition the wood to make sure it lasts for a long long time.

MATERIALS:
All the wood is hand picked but varies from tree to tree. This means the grains of the wood and knots in the wood may be slightly different on your item. Your finished product may not look exactly like the one above but it will be unique and look amazing!
